Kind Owl

This is the most tolerant and least ‘flighty’ short-eared owl I have ever encountered in the wild. It didn’t mind my car coming to a quick halt feet away, or the sound of the window rolling down, or the furious rattle of the camera shutter. I was even able to grab a video of it with my phone (see my story). And then, perhaps when it knew I was completely done with the impromptu photo shoot, it flew off. Thank you kind owl!
