Purple Solidarity
The wild camas flowers along Montana's continental divide bloom every June. Their bloom is something I always look forward too and enjoy capturing. From afar, a field full of these beauties may give a meadow the appearance of a sea of purple. . Camas plants are in the asparagus family and are edible. They were a hugely important food staple for Indigenous peoples and settlers in parts of the American Old West.
