Arrowleaf Super Bloom

This is a photo of the Arrowleaf balsamroot in full bloom along the Rocky Road Trail during the epic spring super-bloom of 2017. The Bompart Hill area lies along the northeast slopes of Mount Ascension and has largely been protected by the efforts of Prickly Pear Land Trust which includes the Rocky Road Trail and others that make up Helena’s world class trail system.
