With severe drought, wildfire and smoke, the usually perfect month of July was nearly ruined for many folks wanting to get outside and enjoy all that Montana has to offer. I had numerous plans canned because of the smoke. However, August really rallied, providing an amazing week of cleansing rainy weather that abated the wildlifes and hit the reset button on summer. With this in mind, I was able to explore some of the high-country of the Tobacco Root Mountains of Southwest Montana. Enjoy a few of my favorite images from the Branham Lakes Region in the ‘Wacky Tobaccies’ :-)
