The wind along Montana’s continental divide sculpts snow into smooth organic shapes. This shot was taken at sunset earlier this winter before things really started to pile up. A snow measurement device (SNOTEL) near where this photo was taken currently sits at an amazing 204% (over double) the amount of snow compared to average for late February 2018.
