Inversion Lift

The atmosphere has been quite stale here in the Helena Montana area for quite some time - so much so we have had a strong inversion trap cold and dirty air in our bowl of a valley for over a week. But, today that changed - and with that change came wind and cool clouds. This is a shot of the sunset over the Big Belt Mountains of central Montana from Davis Gulch , the place we call home.
