Graceful Trumpeter Swan

The wild Lamar River Valley located in the northwest corner of Yellowstone National Park is a popular place to see wildlife, in particular, wolves. My visit did not disappoint. A few moments after taking this photo I saw, from a distance, two black wolves. This was my first wolf sighting in my life. The Absaroka Mountains lie snow-covered in the background.
