Red wing Blackbirds do not like Sandhill Cranes. Cranes will happily consume the eggs of red-winged blackbirds. In retaliation the male red-winged blackbird will often approach from behind, launching an aerial attack at a crane's head. It was fascinating to see how this played out. In the end, the obnoxious red-wing made the cranes run for cover.
